Here at New York Rocking Chairs you will discover works of art through wood.  I strive to bring out the best that the material has to offer.  Only top quality, hand-selected hard-woods are used in this process.  Each piece is considered for its uniqueness, color, grain and what it will bring to the overall finished product.

I take great pride in my creations.  I hope that you too will come to appreciate the finer qualities of wooden furniture and the value it adds.  These pieces are made because I truly love what I do.  I enjoy the process of taking raw material and hand crafting it into a thing of natural beauty that will augment someone's life, family and home.  To bring joy and life to another person through my gifts and talents is truly a pleasure.

This site contains some examples of the pieces I have created.  I specialize in what many consider to be the most comfortable rocking chairs on Earth.  They feel like you are floating on air. 

I also build and maintain aquariums.  Specializing in plywood aquariums and their supporting cabinetry.  Included are some examples of what these look like. 

Recently I began my foray into wood turning, there are several pen/pencil sets available for sale and soon I will be getting into bowls and other turned items.
