These Rocking Chairs are hand-crafted from the finest hardwoods available. If you see something you like or want to match an existing piece, we can find the wood to do it. Samples of some woods are available upon request.

There are many unique and varied wood species available. NY Rocking Chairs will work with you to design the chair of your dreams, to be passed down from generation to generation.

Each rocking chair takes about 40 hours of work spread out over 4-6 weeks and is custom made to order.

Over 120 pieces of wood are bent, shaped and assembled to form each of these works of art. Each chair is sanded until the wood feels like glass, a penetrating finish is then applied bringing out the grain of the wood even more.
